At least three EPD officers looking for someone near Days Inn and IHOP on 5th street

 

Just saw an EPD officer walk into Days Inn on 5th and D. And another EPD officer pull up at 11:01.

Officers just cleared the scene at Days Inn. I see another officer 11:03 near IHOP. They are obviously looking for someone.

EPD PIO Laura Montagna told me, "Someone broke the placard near our Officer Memorial in front of the department and they were looking for that person."

EPD is having a busy morning. Sgt. Omey was at both scenes. EPD, CSET and Animal Control on 4th and D. I saw a bunch of animals from the camper van. This is one of the vehicles EPD has received numerous complaints about as part of the abatement program. It was towed.
