ICWA, DHHS, CWS in Humboldt is an important issue, why is Kent Sawatzky bringing claims forward and did he provide any evidence to BOS?

I used to work for CWS and I did ICWA noticing. I was familiar with courts and even attended a court hearing on a contested adoption.  This was before I had the blog. This is my 11th year of covering Humboldt Superior Court and that has only increased my knowledge of the system.
I have spoken with families from local tribes and local tribe consultants who CWS used in the past. I have no idea what the current practice is because I don't work for CWS. I don't attend family court hearings.

This is an important topic and the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors should look into it but not because Kent Sawstzky submitted a letter. In fact, the BOS should look into it despite the fact that Kent has brought this forward.

Did Kent provide any evidence for his claims? All that is on the agenda is this letter. I ask because hyperbole Kent throws a lot of stuff out there without evidence and did not follow up on his intention of filing a lawsuit. You can read about that in the April 2022 post linked below.

Why is Kent writing this letter? Why is there not a single name from any local tribal member or leader?

Is this public comment connected to the person in two previous posts? Is this connected to the claims Kent made in September 2024?

Kent has mentioned CWS before. I did a post in September 2024.

If you read the post in December 2024 about "Newsworthy". I have an email from Kent about that person as well another email in December after my post stating "Newsworthy" is " who Kent went to the BOS about."
