Local attorney Michael Acosta charged with three felonies

Arraignment date for local attorney Michael Acosta is one day later than the date provided to me by District Attorney Maggie Fleming. Mr. Acosta will be arraigned on 3/12.

Charges, arraignment letter and complaint listed below.

Sarah Caroll  charged as Acosta's co-defendant will also be arraigned on March 12.

Bryan McBeth, Tracie Nichols, Ashley Asti, Richard Haberman, Kevin Haberman were arrested in connection with the same investigation that led to the arrest of local attorney Michael Acosta and Sarah Caroll. This was on February 5, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served search warrants at multiple locations  in Eureka.

Their arraignment dates are for the following week. No charges have been filed for them as of today.
