Humboldt County Supervisors to meet tomorrow afternoon in response to Governor Newsom's guidelines regarding the coronavirus

Today, in response to the coronavirus, California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday issued new guidelines , calling for home isolation of everyone in the state over age 65 and people with chronic disease, both high-risk populations. A system to provide food to homebound seniors is being discussed.

He also asked for closure of bars, wineries, night clubs and brew pubs, and called for restaurants to reduce their occupancy by half.

First District Supervisor Rex Bohn told me the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors is meeting tomorrow at 1:30. The meeting is open to media and the public.
