Murder suspect Demetrius Coleman's attorney, Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps requested a hearing today and declared a conflict. The court appointed Ms. Andrea Sullivan to represent Coleman.
After meeting with Coleman, Ms. Sullivan said she is "likely to file a motion to continue."
Deputy Public Defender David Celli represents the co-defendant Alma Ahumadamendoza. He had no idea about today's hearing until I told him. I just saw it on calendar earlier this morning.
Victim is Johnny Renfro.
