DA seeks disqualification of Michael Acosta as convicted human trafficker's attorney

On March 12, the preliminary hearing for convicted human trafficker David Anderson was continued at the last minute by a motion filed by the District Attorney. The documents are sealed and on record, not much was said. The motion needs to be heard before the preliminary hearing.

Tomorrow, setting of preliminary hearing is scheduled along with hearing on the DA's motions. I checked and one motion is for sealed documents and the other for disqualification of attorney per CCP 128.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for this case. Mr. Michael Acosta is Anderson's attorney.
