Additional discovery leads to rescheduling of Pamela Millsap's preliminary hearing


Intervention was held this afternoon for murder suspect Pamela Faye Millsap. Preliminary hearing scheduled for March 4 was vacated.

Defense received a thumb drive with additional discovery and since People did not object, the request for motion to continue by the defense was granted. Millsap entered a 10 day time waiver.



Millsap is charged with one count of voluntary manslaughter, two counts of child abuse and one special allegation that she personally used a firearm; a shotgun.

Intervention rescheduled for March 26; preliminary hearing for April 2.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for this case. Today, Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer appeared in court for the Pepole. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O' Connell is Millsap's attorney. Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps appeared in court for her.
