"Last year during basketball season (maybe February of this year) one of Mckinleyville's varsity basketball players that was a junior last year, was caught by myself and 2 other people, ordering and drinking beer at six rivers brewery with his assistant basketball coaches from Mack high. "

"When we brought it to their attention, they investigated and took away the players fake ID, shushed the owners of brewery, and swept it under the rug with no repercussions. We ended up being the "bad guys" for reporting it and the northern humboldt administration retaliated against us. This is what I was going to tell you last year."

"I resigned from my position as head coach of  AHS cheer along with the other coach because of how badly we were treated following the incident."

"Absolutely no consequences because he was their star basketball player and the schools were headed into playoffs."

"Also let me include a part of an email I sent to chris Hartley (former district superintendent of nohum district) but received no response to address the situation." 

"The arcata principal was encouraged to have us resign. Threatened us and "investigated" claims made by a personal friend of chris Hartley and came up empty. I had 20 parents and their cheerleaders backing me and still do to this day. Which is why none of them are cheering this year"

Ms. Jackson claimed she had " copies of texts between myself and their principal." 

This is the part of statement from a screenshot provided to me by Chanti Jackson. "I'm also curious as to why you were made aware of the situation with (student name) and the assistant basketballcoach drinking together at Six River's Brewery with (student), and you never gave either of them any consequences. I was with another coach and my child, and we all witnessed (student) buying and drinking beer."
The rest of that statement:

"He was never disciplined. As a matter of fact, he played in the game that week. Let me get some other screenshots. And Navarre was coached by chris Hartley. Had him investigate me. Pulled stuff out of his ass to accuse me of."

"I have screenshots from another coach at Mack but she's still there and I really don't want to get her involved."

"Ok. Let me look through emails. Also, the person that actually talked crap to you on that thread (Ashley kitchen) was the one I had communication with regarding it and I was trying to protect her."

11:07 p.m. "The other coach and I stand behind what we saw that evening. This is the last statement I will make on this matter and it's in response to the information Mr. McDonald provided you. The waitress and bartender at the brewery that evening both stated that he had provided ID when ordering a beer. We watched him standing at the bar, order it, and then take it to his table. It was at that point that we brought it to the waitresses attention that he was underage and she went to their table to speak with them. I appreciate you covering this incident and hope it prevents further "cover ups".

****The above are the statements and claims Ms. Jackson has made over the course of the last three days. Initially, I did not name her as my source. After the original post, people had already figured out it was her but  we still discussed why I would be using her name in this followup post.****
