DA has received report on Travis Watson, he has to be arraigned by tomorrow

Humboldt DA has received report from HCSO on homicide suspect Travis Watson. It is being reviewed. No charges as of 1:46 p.m. Nothing as of 2:58 p.m. It will most likely be a late arraignment tomorrow. Courtroom 2 had a short calendar this afternoon and they are closed now.

If there is anything new to report, I will do a new notification via a new post on Facebook. On the blog, I will just add the update to this post.

He is on the must go list for tomorrow and needs to be arraigned by tomorrow or he will be released from custody. As I previously reported, he was booked on a no bail warrant. Man of many names, he is known as Travis Dillan Watson aka Travis Dillion Williams Watson aka Travis Dillion William Watson aka Travis Dylan Watson.

5/6/26: The Humboldt County DA filed a complaint this morning charging Travis Watson with murder of James William and a special allegation that in the commission of the crime, he used a knife.

The complaint was filed by Humboldt County Senior Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees. Retired Humboldt Superior Court Judge John Feeney set bail at $1 million. Conflict Counsel's office was appointed. OR bail hearing set at discretion of the Court on 5/15 which is also the date for preliminary hearing. Referral made for a supervised release report. At arraignment today, as I expected, Mr. Rees appeared on the case and is the prosecutor.
