Megan Ann Smith was arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday on a bench warrant for two counts of probation violation, VC 12500(a) driving without a license, possession of a controlled substance, PC 22210, HS 11351 and HS11352(a).
There are 22 cases in the Humboldt Superior Court search. The bench warrant was issued on 7/26/22 in a 2020 case.
11/10: Smith was granted supervised release by Judge Christopher Wilson on Nov 10 and is out of custody. She is to continue to stay at Mission and complete her Aegis treatment. Preliminary hearing is on 11/22.
11/22: Preliminary hearing continued to 1/25 by DA.
1/25: Smith resolved three cases before her preliminary hearing. Probation was terminated in two 2018 cases. Court minutes for her 2020 case in which she entered a guilty plea to Count 2, HS11351, possession of a controlled substance. This is a conditional plea. Sentencing is on 2/22.
