Alleged molestor Sergio Reynoso-Lozano is charged with 9 felonies involving a minor. Eights counts of PC 288 (a) lewd and lascivious acts with a minor. Count 8 has a special allegation of PC 667.61 (j) (2) California's one strike sex crimes enhancement that can add 15 years, 25 years, or life to a sentence. Count 9 is PC 288 (c) (1) lewd and lascivious acts with a minor aged 14 or 15.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor. Deputy Public Defender David Celli is Lozano's attorney.
On 11/2, People's offer of 14 years in prison was rejected by defense. Lozano faces 50 years to life, if convicted.
On 11/4, defense counter offer of 6 years in prison was rejected by the People.
Jury selection in the morning; motions in limine and 402 hearings in the afternoon are scheduled for 11/7.
