"Someone drove up to a large animal evacuation center in Mendocino and asked if they needed anything"; $300 worth of medications donated

Thanks to Assemblymember Jim Wood for the photo and sharing this story.

"Today, one more heartwarming story in the midst of this disaster. Someone drove up to a large animal evacuation center in Mendocino and asked if they needed anything. They gave him a list of medications needed, the person left to purchase the items, about $300 worth, and delivered it with this written on the receipt."

  1. Is that a legal way to get medications? It's nice and all, but seems kind of shady. I can't imagine any kind of professional facility getting medication from a stranger with a handwritten note. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking medication like that.

    1. What is shady about medications provided with a written receipt? Did you miss that part? That is a rhetorical question.

Instead of putting down efforts of someone helping out in a time of crisis, all you can do is complain, sitting behind a keyboard? All you negative whiners, always anonymous, and putting down efforts of people who actually contribute to society.
