Mack High Varsity Basketball player, a junior, caught drinking beer with coaches, had fake ID, no consequences

 "Last year during basketball season (maybe February of this year) one of Mckinleyville's varsity basketball players that was a junior last year, was caught by myself and 2 other people, ordering and drinking beer at six rivers brewery with his assistant basketball coaches from Mack high. "
"When we brought it to their attention, they investigated and took away the players fake ID, shushed the owners of brewery, and swept it under the rug with no repercussions. We ended up being the "bad guys" for reporting it and the northern humboldt administration retaliated against us. This is what I was going to tell you last year."

"I resigned from my position as head coach of  (name of school) cheer along with the other coach because of how badly we were treated following the incident."

"Absolutely no consequences because he was their star basketball player and the schools were headed into playoffs."

At the person's request, not using the person's name or the name the other school these coaches were from. I know this person well and personally. I have copies of comunication regarding the student and this situation and know his name  and he is a minor.

Have contacted Principal Nic Collart for an official response from the school administration. Principal Collart was not the principal last year. M, Roger McDonald was; he is now the Suprintendent of the Northern Humboldt Union High School District (NHUHSD).

"Mr.Chiv - if you would like to discuss the allegations against the MHS basketball player", then Mr. McDonald  gave me his contact information. "This incident was very thoroughly investigated last year."

I will update with more of Mr. McDonald's response. I told him I would like a written response so that it is republished with his exact words, given the sensitivity of the situation.

This is a small town, my source is already concerned about more social pressure and possible retaliation. My source has shown me documentation and is working on providing me more.
