Adult male allegedly assaulted, his husband Steven Archuletta is arrested

On 02-11-2016 at about 2:23 AM Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a reported domestic violence incident in the 10400 block of Howard Street in Mendocino, California.

Upon arrival Deputies learned that an adult male and his husband, Steven Archuletta, had engaged in a verbal argument.  The argument escalated resulting in Archuletta throwing the adult male onto the floor inside of the couple’s residence.

Deputies observed dried blood on the adult male’s shirt and marks/bruising on his upper and lower lips.  The adult male also complained of pain to his abdomen.

Deputies subsequently contacted Archuletta at the couple’s residence where he was arrested without incident.

Archuletta was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on a felony domestic violence charge and was to be held in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
