    1. Whatever it takes to keep this tragedy from being quietly swept away should be done. This is one good way to keep the pressure on LE and investigators.

  2. John - It may be a busy evening for those that have police scanner radios, and they may want to monitor the Arcata Police Department main frequency of 155.430 Mhz.

A list for most of the Humboldt County Public Service Radio Frequencies can be found at the link below. All frequencies are able to be received using a simple inexpensive VHF/ UHF radio scanner. No radio trunking systems are used here locally, and the only encrypted radio transmissions I have heard in the past, have been from the DOJ/ Drug Task Force.

I know that between the Thursday Night Talk program on KHSU at 7 pm, and this rally at 6pm, I will be listening to several radios throughout the evening.

  3. John - I looked in my lists, and found additional frequencies for the Arcata PD, for those who want to listen at home.

Arcata PD Tac 2 155.920 (Mutual Aid)
    Arcata PD Tac 3 155.790
    Arcata PD Tac 4 155.955

  4. So how did this event go? I was thinking there would be some mention afterward.
