Kailan Meserve takes the stand today, testimony to continue tomorrow
DA Investigator Kyla Baxley took the stand today in the defense case, she was followed by defense investigator Adam Laird and then Kailan Meserve took the stand.
Once again, you're the only reporter covering this rape trial. Thanks on behal of victims, families, and the community. Why would the DA investigator give testimony for the defense? Wasn't she cross examined already (if she testified for the prosecutor)?
Tall Trees, the DA Investigator testified during the preliminary hearing and the defense did get to question her at that time.
The defense called her today to ask about some statements she made in the preliminary hearing about what the victims said and compared that to their testimony in court.
