From January 28 - March 20, 2016, Humboldt County has experienced a rash of armed robberies primarily in Fortuna, Eureka, Arcata, and McKinleyville. Surrounding agencies are working together to compare notes and find similarities between the cases. What we know:
· Typically two male suspects
· Silver handgun brandished
· Wearing masks and/or hoodies
· Targeting gas stations and mini marts near major highways
· Vehicles involved parked out of sight (green Honda Civic or gray Chevrolet SUV described in at least two of the cases)
· Most incidents occurred between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
