I contacted the Humboldt County Elections Office and cced Humboldt County Clerk, Recorder, & Registrar of Voters Mr. Juan Cervantes to ask when the following judges and Eureka City Council incumbents are up for re-election, should they decide to seek another term. The next statewide primary election is on June 2, 2026.
Mr. Cervantes responded, "Here are when the following folks will be up for re-election if they run again."
Judge Kaleb Cockrum: June 2026
Mayor Kim Bergel: November 2026
Councilmember Leslie Castellano: November 2026
Judge Lawrence Killoran: June 2030
