No other media is here. I got to briefly say hi to Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal, Undersheriff J.D. Braud and other HCSO top brass. Sheriff Honsal opened his remarks by noting this is National Police week. He spoke about the thin blue line.
Some of the recognitions included Sgt. Jamie Barney for 20 years of service. Captain Bryan Quenell for 30 years of service. HCSO Deputy Raleigh Willoughy and Sgt. Tony Gomes for life saving efforts.
On May 14, HCSO posted details on Facebook and I added all the names to the post.
