"Have you ever sent anyone to prison?" Redway students ask Judge Killoran on their tour of courts and Board of Supervisors

Redway 4th, 5th and 6th grade students today at the Courthouse. They were split in two groups. One got to see the Board of Supervisors in action. The other the courts. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran gave up.his lunch hour to answer their questions in the jury room.

I did not take any photos because these are young students. I only got to see them briefly during Judge Killoran's presentation in between a very busy day. I didn't even have time to talk to the teachers because the court tour was a surprise. Humboldt Superior Court CEO Meara Hattan, Operations Manager Kelly Nyberg and Assistant Operations Manager Scott Anderson all assisted with the court tour.
