I asked in 2022 if this case against Deputy Cumbow and HCSO had any merit; it settled and was dismissed with prejudice

 

In 2022, I reported on a lawsuit filed by Cole Hess against HCSO Deputy Nathan Cumbow and the Humboldt County Sheriff's office.

Nothing but continuances and case management conferences kept being scheduled for two years  There was a hearing scheduled on 11/22/24. When I checked the case today for an update, I saw the case settled & was dismissed on 10/11/24.

Ms. Heidi Holmquist Wells of the Zwerdling Law Firm represented Hess. Mr. Nicholas Kloeppel was the attorney for the County of Humboldt.
