HSU graduate student selected to travel to RNC will be sharing her experiences throughout the week

I was contacted by Berkeley Kijsriopas,  a graduate student at Humboldt State University who is doing research for her thesis on leadership.  She was selected by a professor and HSU to attend the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, OH this coming week.

Ms. Kijsriopas will be talking to and surveying people who identify strongly with being Republican, and talking to protesters.

"Throughout the week, I will be taking pictures and conducting live sessions on Facebook, to show people what it's actually like at the RNC. I will be surveying and talking to people who identify with several different groups including white supremacists, Black Lives Matter, Westboro Baptist Church and others," she said.

I commend HSU and Ms. Kijsriopas on their effort to give others in Humboldt an opportunity to share in our nation's history.
