City of Eureka dismissed public nuisance lawsuit against Dick Henderson

 

Yesterday's Case Management Conference hearing in the City of Eureka vs Dick Leroy Henderson was dismissed without prejudice on February 6, 2026.

City of Eureka Deputy City Attorney Gregory Holtz has been handling this matter. He responded to my inquiry. "Hi John,The City dismissed the receivership case in February due to a technical defect in the capacity in which the defendant was sued.  The City resolved the issue, then filed a new receivership case last week regarding the same property against the same defendant in a slightly different capacity."
