Emmanuel Arcangel Moya-Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County jail yesterday for six alleged felony violations. DA Investigator Ryan Hill arrested Moya-Rodriguez for PC 288.3(a) contacting a minor with intent to commit a felony, PC 288.4 (b) arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes and PC 288.2(a)(2) sending harmful material to seduce a minor. He was arrested by Humboldt County Drug Task Force for HS 11378 possession of meth for sale, HS 11379 (a) transportation or sale of meth and HS 11379 (b) manufacturing a controlled substance.
4/16: The DA filed complaint 4/16, three felonies and they are the three sex charges listed above when he was booked. He was arraigned on 4/16. Public Defender's office was appointed. Judge Lawrence Killoran set bail at $110,000. OR on 4/18; preliminary hearing on 4/25.
4/18: Supervised release denied by Judge killoran; custody status changed to no bail
4/25: defense continued preliminary hearing to to 6/12 for resolution discussions.
6/12/25: Preliminary hearing continued by stipulation to 7/10 + receipt of pre plea report for possible resolution.
