Alameda County prosecutors make headlines for excluding Jewish, black, LGBTQ jurors and using anti gay labels during jury selection

Humboldt does not have diverse juries and I have previously reported on cases about the disparity  Native American and black defendants face in the local courts especially during my extensive coverage for years on ousted Gregory Kreis. Ms  April Van Dyke who is Humboldt's newest judge provide stats and raised these issues as a public defender.
