He is the convicted sex offender who wants his record expunged but has no evidence to back his claims

Convicted sex offender Alan Cooke refuses to let the Court appoint an attorney. Wants to represent himself. Wouldnt meet with Probation because he said they would recommend against his petition to expunge a record. He agreed because  Judge Timothy Canning said without information from Probation, the option was to deny his petition today.

This guy claims he has many friends who are criminal attorneys. But had no answer to why they will not represent him. He doesn't know the law. Makes claims about his sentence for a case not supported by paperwork in file. Insults Deputy District Attorney David Moutrie.



Hey Cooke, "that fella" has a J.D. You have a record and are a perv. And wasted court time because unfortunately, you have rights under the law and you know how to manouver the legal system.

17 aliases for Alan Cooke on Megan's Law. No photo on Megan's law. Why? Watching court via Zoom/You Tube does not allow for a close up. Due to COVID 19, he was wearing a mask. If I had been in court, I would have been able to confirm his identity.

I had a conversation with a transient, sex offender who wants his record expunged and had been turned down by several criminal defense attorneys. No remorse, still a perv and doesn't hide it. That is what got my attention while I was waiting for other cases to be called.

Here is a post I did on an Alan A. Cook. In court today, the defendant had a plea deal in which he entered a guilty plea to an amended Count 5. See my post below.

With 17 aliases, name spelled differently in different places, no access to court records right now. So it  is difficult to confirm that the guy in court today is the same one one Megan's Law.

By not allowing media access to e court, 5 months into a pandemic refusing any suggestions that would allay COVID 19 concerns, with no idea when court access will be allowed, this is the kind of stuff that endangers public safety and affects reporting.
