There have been talks about resolution for murder,
assault and robbery suspect Richard Dean but on March 3, there was a hearing scheduled for change of plea. It was continued to March 6 by the defense.
This is another 2016 case. Dean has been to Napa State Hospital and back. Since Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin took over the case, he has worked actively on investigation and analysis of evidence as well as having discussions with Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads to resolve the case.
Victim in the homicide case is Anthony Pennucci.
