Sixth continuance in Kimberly Felder's case just to receive 2nd doctor's report

Kimberly Felder's hearing to receive Dr. Gregory's report scheduled for May 3 was continued to May 17.

It was last June that Felder was arrested.  Good samaritans witnessed Felder assaulting, choking  and shoving sand into her daughter's eyes. They rescued the child and called law enforcement.

The setting of the preliminary hearing has been on hold until the report is received. Felder has already been evaluated by Dr. Chamberlain.

Deputy District Attorney Joel Buckingham appeared in court today on behalf of Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads.

Deputy Public Defender Brie Bennett appeared with Felder in court today on behalf of  Public Defender Marek Reavis.
