First quarter of tax revenue from cannabis sales is 60.9 million; this does not include local taxes

Cannabis sales brought in $60.9 million for the state of California, according to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration. This amount is from the first quarter of 2018.

This includes the state cultivation, excise, and sales tax but  does not include local tax revenue.
