Talk with anonymous online accounts is cheap. I am not singling out Steve Kimberling. The article about him is easily accessible online to anyone typing in donor and Providence Eureka.
Kimberling is not Catholic. He is Christian. How many of you use Eureka Payments? Is any of you going to refuse money from the McLean Foundation? Donors give for various reasons.
Are you anon keyboard warriors not going do business with all donors or associate with the people listed on a plaque in the lobby. I doubt it.
Venting online is easy. Taking a risk, using your actual name and actions making a difference so another woman does not have to suffer like Anna Nusslock takes courage and makes a difference. Health care is abysmal in Humboldt.
Providence has a monopoly in Humboldt due to the same reasons many others do in this county and have for decades. Failure of leadership from certain local elected officials and other entrenched interests exposed on this blog regularly and they keep life in Humboldt stagnant and an unneccessary struggle.
Money and loss of power is all evil understands. Every choice you make on what media you read, who you do business with and who you vote for makes a difference. And you can do that without being public or vocal but it is more effective than anonymous online comments and virtue signaling.
