On Saturday, September 21, 2024, the Arcata Police Department invites community members to join them for an engaging Open House event aimed at fostering community relationships.
The event will take place in the parking lot of the Arcata Police Department, located at 736 F Street, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Attendees can look forward to delicious hot dogs, refreshing soft drinks, and meaningful conversations with officers.
Recognizing that interactions between law enforcement and the public often occur during higher-stress situations, this event provides a unique opportunity for residents to engage with officers in a relaxed atmosphere. We encourage community members to ask questions and learn more about the department, helping to break down barriers and build trust.
In addition to enjoying the BBQ, attendees will have the chance to tour our facility and vehicles.
