Gregory Kreis ordered to information about his bank statements, the number of paid consultations and number of paid clients in family law case

Kreis settled in his lawsuit against former Humboldt Deputy Public Defender Rory Kalin. He made a deal with the Commission on Judicial Performance.  Will he settle his family law case?

Previously, when I checked, future dates included a hearing on request for order-Sanctions  for 10/25/24 and a status conference on 1/24/25.

Despite being assured by Humboldt Superior Court Operations Manager Kelly Nyberg that staff had been instructed to scan in minutes for this case, there are no minutes from the 9/6 settlement conference. I have checked more than once and the last time was 9/26.

I took a quick look at the case on 9/26 and a stipulation and order was filed by Brenda Elvine's attorney on 9/24 after the settlement conference hearing which was entered sometime in e court between when I checked the case on  9/25 and again on 9/26. Kreis has to provide information about his bank statements, the number of paid consultations and number of paid clients. There are more details about spousal support. The case was before a different judge on 9/6/24; Sonoma Superior Court Judge Lawrence Ornell.

Most of my readers follow my blog regularly and have followed my coverage on Kreis for years which includes the Rory Kalin lawsuit, the CJP proceedings and his family law case. I have linked 4 recent posts on the family law case for new readers.

10/3: After this post, Brenda Elvine's lawyer filed these documents with errors. It is not my problem that her lawyer does not know how to do his job correctly the first time. After inquiry, I was told my Humboldt court administration that Gregory Kreis filed a document that is being scanned and processed. It was not in e court when I checked late afternoon on 10/4/24. When and if it is available, I will add it. After seeing no such document for  weeks, I sent two emails to Humboldt Superior Court Assistant Operations Manager Scott Anderson and he verbally responded on 10/23 and told me I misunderstood his previous email that the only person who had filed was Brenda Elvine and that Gregory Kreis had not filed any paperwork.

This document was finally scanned in or due to the e court update not visible to me until 10/4/24.
