DA prosecutor issues a statement on the Jason Daniels' verdict: "We are disappointed with the verdict. We put forward as much evidence as we were allowed"

Deputy District Attorney Brie Bennett gave me this comment regarding the Jason Daniels' verdict this morning.

"We are disappointed with the verdict. We put forward as much evidence as we were allowed. I am very grateful to the victims for reporting these crimes and working with us. I hope this result does not discourage victims from coming forward, regardless of their life circumstances."
