EPD invesigating possible homicide on Third Street

"Not a homicide but arson"  said HBF Chris Emmons. "Two points of origin." "We have had a lot of fires in the last few months; some have been arson." EPD called for fire investigator after checking the scene and building.


Sometime between Friday and noon on Sunday, when the cleaning lady arrived, the arson was discovered. No damage inside. Owners called EPD and HBF today.

EPD at Third Street in Eureka investigating possible homicide investigation, according to a post on HumCo alert.

EPD had just  left as Channel 3 and I arrived at the location. By the time, HBF and we left only a couple of curious onlookers stopped by.
