George Zinn's obstruction of justice and sexual exploitation case does not get the same attention and coverage as the Tyler Robinson case

There is was third waiver hearing and custody status for George Zinn's three cases on  10/29. All cases were continued to 11/19 for a fourth waiver hearing.

In my previous post on October 8, I had reported that the State had made a new offer.

If you are not familiar with who Zinn is; he is the man who yelled he was the shooter after Charlie Kirk was shot and later admitted to law enforcement that he did so to hinder law enforcement response and allow the suspect to flee.

Zinn's case does not get the attention and same coverage as Tyler Robinson's case does from other media. The obstruction of justice charge is related to the Robinson case but my interest in covering this case is the charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.

I am in California covering these hearings remotely. Utah Fourth District Judge Thomas Low conducts his courtroom differently than Utah Fourth District Tony Graf. The calendar in Judge Low's courtroom takes hours with many cases called out of order.

I have covered both Robinson and Zinn hearings live. Robinson's case has more of a priority over Humboldt cases; with Zinn; it is a decision I make with each hearing.

11/19/25: Fourth waiver hearing for all three cases continued to 12/17 for the fifth waiver hearing.
