Even TV crime shows have better scripts then testimony from the D.C. subway sandwich misdemeanor trial. The information is a summary of the basics from media coverage but CBS News was the one who included questions from defense cross examination.Customs and Border Patrol Agent Gregory Lairmore,Customs and Border Patrol Agent testified today that a sandwich "exploded all over him." Lairmore said he "could feel it through his ballistic vest" and he "could smell the onions and mustard" on his uniform, and even had an onion string hanging by his police radio later that night. The fast-food mustard, he said, stained his shirt. Defense asked Lairmore  why there are no evidentiary photos of stains on his shirt or of the sandwich after it was thrown.
