As of 3 p.m. on Friday, the jury in convicted molestor Steve Boudreaux's retrial was still deliberating. Later that day, there was a mistrial and another hung jury in the case.
I had a feeling this might be the case after 2/13/25 and the issue with juror #6. Court minutes from 2/13/25 are in the previous post.
Trial setting is scheduled for 2/21/25. Typed detailed court minutes from 2/14 are not in e court yet and I checked several times and they were still not in entered as of 1:30 p.m on 2/21I will add them when they are available or information from them. Trial setting was continued to 2/26 since assigned counsel not available.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for this case. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Boudreaux's attorney. Judge April Van Dyke presided over the trial.
I have covered the case and two trials now. If you are not a regular reader of the blog, you can read previous coverage for background and more details.
