Convicted human trafficker David Anderson is back to his narcissist drama in court

Convicted human trafficker David Anderson's jury trial was scheduled for December 14 was vacated.

As reported previously, criminal jury trials are being reset per emergency order due to increased COVID 19 cases.

Every other defendant does not have Anderson's penchant for drama. Every hearing, he wastes time having his attorney Michael Acosta call him during court. Most defendants understand that routine jail visits are when they follow up and meet with their attorneys. Calls during court are for urgent matters like clarifying a plea. We wasted half an hour on what should have been a simple resetting of dates at trial assignment.

Anderson also held up another inmate's plea.

Anderson is not dumb, he is just a narcissist sociopath. And in denial of his criminal record. Despite being explained three times by his own attorney and the Judge, that in order for a bench trial, the People have to stipulate , he kept repeating he had waived his right to a jury trial.

Despite hearing today and knowing that Judge Kaleb Cockrum is disqualified on his case and can only handle certain proceedings, like resetting dates, Anderson wasted time again by requesting a bail reduction hearing and supervised release.

Judge Cockrum brought up Anderson's record,  the charges in this case and that the bail requests had been previously denied.  "I am not going to consider that and I am disqualified." Judge Cockrum told Mr. Acosta that he can bring up the issue at the next hearing and with a different Judge.

Regarding Anderson's request for release, Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads said, "I submit on the court comments."

Trial assignment is December 31; jury trial is January 4.
