After all that talk and swagger about taking it to trial, guess Andrew Stunich saw the writing on the wall, especially the community reaction to his trying to be dismissive about having a loaded firearm in his belongings, as he tried to go through the courthouse.
Stunich showed up for arraignment today and is trying to work out a deal with the DA on his case. Arraignment was continued to October 2.

Maybe the gravity of he situation set in...or some intelligent friend took him aside and said,"look numb nuts you screwed up"
ReplyDeleteAndrew Stunich was headed on a path to possibly getting disbarred. If he really pushes this to trial, his career is in jeopardy.
ReplyDeleteBut the damage has been done, John. You've done excellent work on this case. Andrew violated the first piece of advice every attorney tells their client - keep your mouth shut until everything is resolved.
He opened his mouth and has damaged his reputation. It's on the Internet forever whenever someone does a simple query for his name on a search engine. Barnyard idiocy.
Is he to cheap to hire a smarter attorney? Shouldn't be too difficult to find one.
ReplyDeleteSounds like "pulling a stunich" has a new meaning... there's really nothing in a google search that is flattering for this guy.
ReplyDeleteI found it entertaining that this guys official response to the gun being in his bag was claiming he's licensed to carry it because he's proven that he is a responsible gun owner and can be trusted to safely carry it.
