The male victim, age 32, works at the Hoopa Mini Mart, HWY 96, located in Hoopa, CA. He stated while he was attempting to deposit an undisclosed amount of cash from the business into the deposit drop box, the suspect came around the corner of the building and pointed a flashlight and gun at him. The suspect demanded the money and the victim was hesitant at first. The suspect then cocked the gun and the victim then gave him the money. The suspect fled west into a field behind Coast Central Credit Union. The victim then left the scene and called law enforcement.
The suspect is described as Native American, male, 5’7”, 130lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front, black pants, black sun glasses, and a blue bandana.
