EPD Press Release:

On 09/15/15 at about 8:37 p.m., Officers with the Eureka Police Department were dispatched to 6th and T Streets for the report of a stabbing that had just occurred.  Callers said that the suspect was last seen running north through the greenbelt towards 5th Street and was described as a white male adult, 135 pounds, and bald.

Officers responded and searched the area with a K9 but were unable to locate the suspect.  Officers found the victim, a 29 year old Eureka male, with multiple stab wounds.  The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance with wounds that required surgery.
