Even Linda Atkins voted for the chronic nuisance ordinance, so the usual "protestors" need to get over it

This is the link to the Times-Standard article. Jessie Faulkner did a good job of reporting on how certain people are disruptive and disrespectful of other views. Surprise, surprise, one of them is Humboldt's resident agitator and anti-police Kim Starr aka Verbena.

Natalie Arroyo was not at the meeting last night but the ordinance passed 4-0. Even Linda Atkins voted for it, get over it, Verbena and the usual protestors.

Good job Eureka City Council.

I think the ordinance is a great idea. In fact, when the motel nuisance ordinance was passed, I mentioned this idea would be good for residences to city staff and some City Council members.

It is not the job of the EPD to monitor and make sure that tenants obey laws. Often calls to the EPD from residential properties are ones EPD can do nothing about because it a landlord-tenant issue.

People need to respect others and living spaces need to be peaceful for all.

Landlords that do more than a credit check and actually make their properties a safe and livable environment should be rewarded; those that are absentee should be penalized. Time for landlords that just collect rent to be held accountable.
