Rio Dell police officer Kevin Harralson jury trial confirmed for September 14

A trial readiness conference was scheduled this afternoon for Kevin Harralson. The Rio Dell police officer is charged with two counts of battery on the mother of his child PC 243 (e) (1) and one count of exhibiting a firearm, PC 447 (a) (2).

DDA Jackie Pizzo was present for the People today. Mr. Robinson appeared for his client and dates were confirmed.

Next court hearing is trial assignment this Friday.

Harralson is charged in Counts 1 and 2 with PC 243 (e) (1), a misdemeanor. PC 273.5. corporal injury on a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent is a felony.

Mr. Michael Robinson is representing Harralson. At the last court hearing DDA A.J. Kamada appeared for the People. The case was being prosecuted by DDA Kelly Neel. She will be joining the Public Defender's office later this month.
