CA EDD wants millions to pay back PUA benefits because of their incompetence

 


Californians who filed for pandemic unemployment assistance have to pay money back due to the incompetence of California EDD.

Two former employees of California's Employment Development Department (EDD), an inmate from Chowchilla's Central California Women's facility and a parolee, are all facing federal charges for filing fraudelent unemoyment claims. This is all a part of the investigation reported previously on CA EDD paying fraudelent claims.

    The estimated amount of illegal payments has been reported to be over eight billion dollars!!! And Ca wants a bailout from the feds.
