Murder trial going on in Washington for Skylar Nemetz for the murder of his wife Danielle

The murder trial in Washington  is currently going for former Arcata High School student Skylar charged with murdering his wife, Danielle.

Nemetz was discharged from the Army. His defense attorney tried to halt the trial claiming a scheme between prosecutors and the Army to discharge his client. That effort was unsuccessful.

Nemetz is charged with the Oct. 16, 2014 shooting death of former McKinleyville High School cheerleader Danielle Nemetz, whom he married and moved with to Washington, when

Nemetz pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder. He claimed hat shooting his wife in the back of the head with an AR-15 rifle while she sat at her computer had been an accident.

According to KIRO 7 in Seattle, Nemetz took the stand today.
