Trial confirmation for Clayton Lasinski is scheduled for August 3. Jury trial is scheduled for August 21. Lasinski, led CHP and EPD through a chase during rush hour after fleeing from CHP following an attempt at a traffic stop.
The jury trial of July 10 vacated; a motion to continue the trial requested by the defense was granted on 6/15. The DA's office filed a motion to amend information which was also granted on 6/15. Original information had 15 counts; Amended information has 16 counts.
