Co-location of permitting services offered by Planning and Building and the Land Use Division of Public Works.  Permitting services from both business units can now be obtained at the same public counter located at 3015 H Street.

Navigating the county’s permitting process just became a little easier this week as two different permitting agencies are now helping customers from the same location. Effective Aug. 1, you can now get services from the Planning & Building Department and the Department of Public Works – Land Use Division at the same public counter located at 3015 H Street in Eureka. You can access this public counter from the entry facing I Street.

This is another step in the county’s efforts to better serve you as you go through the permitting process. The ultimate goal is to provide you with one-stop permitting services by co-locating the Planning & Building Department, Land Use, and the Environmental Health Division of the Department of Health & Human Services.
