Surveilance of attack on U. S. Coast Guard member's wife lost

North Coast News followed up on the attack on the U.S. Coast Guard's wife, please read link. There was information on social media that was incorrect, for one the attack happened at tbe Patriot directly across from Piersons.

The victim finally and made a report with EPD and initially did not want to but did so after all the social media brouhaha.

I just spoke with EPD's Brittany Powell. EPD tried to get surveilance of the attack but by the time the victim had filed the report and the correct location was identified, that day's video had been recorded over.

The victim filed an attempted robbery report. The suspect is a white male, six feet, 180 pounds with reddish blond beard.
