Jury trial for Nick Johnson for the alleged murder of David Ganfield confirmed for September 11


Two 2015 cases, one for alleged violation of parole; the other for trial confirmation the alleged murder of David Ganfield and a disposition and reset for one 2017 case for alleged possession of drugs in jail for Nick Johnson were scheduled for this morning.

Trial estimate, including jury selection, four weeks.

Johnson is known to most people as a codefendant in the murder of David Ganfield as well as shooting at two DA Investigators in January 2016 in a standoff before he was arrested.

Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees was present for the People. Mr. Neal Sanders is representing Johnson.

No other media was in court.
