Resolution expected in Murphy's Market grand theft embezzlement case

A resolution is expected to be reached in the case of Michael Noriega, charged with with grand theft embezzlement at Murphy's Market and possession of a controlled substance, heroin.

District Maggie Fleming was present today at trial assignment. Mr. Casey Russo, Noriega's public defender asked for a continuance. Noriega did not show up for court.

Resolution is expected once restitution is agreed upon by the defendant.
